    • It is with profound sadness that Klinge Corporation announces the passing of Henrik Klinge, a trailblazing leader and beloved figure in the global transport refrigeration industry. Henrik passed away peacefully early on Monday, November 18, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy defined by innovation, commitment to excellence, and dedication to family values.

    • Henrik’s career journey began with a family business in 1971, following in the footsteps of his father, Paul, who founded the original Klinge business shortly after World War II. Together, Henrik and Paul steered the business through transformative growth, establishing Klinge as a trusted name in container refrigeration equipment for marine transport and beyond.

    • Henrik moved to the United States in 1986 to lead the company’s new North American operations in York, Pennsylvania, where he expanded the business’ offerings and client base. Under his leadership, the company introduced groundbreaking innovations such as tank container refrigeration and explosion-proof equipment for the oil and gas industry, securing contracts with major clients, including the Australian and Swedish Defence Forces.

    • Beyond professional achievements, Henrik was a dedicated family man who exemplified the values of integrity, perseverance, and adaptability. His unwavering commitment to maintaining the family legacy has inspired three generations of leadership at Klinge Corporation, with his son Allan Klinge taking the helm as CEO in 2022.

    • Henrik’s influence extended far beyond the business world. He was deeply respected for his mentorship, technical expertise, and ability to forge lasting relationships across multiple industries.

      Links for Lungs

    • Klinge was honored to once again support and participate in the annual Links for Lungs event in York this year! Our team had a fantastic day out on the course at Heritage Hills Resort & Golf Course, rallying behind an important cause.

    • Links for Lungs PA continues its mission of uniting survivors, patients, caregivers, and community members to raise awareness and funds for essential cancer research and advocacy. With a focus on ALK Positive cancer, this event fuels the progress needed to find a cure.

    • Being part of such a meaningful effort was truly rewarding, and we look forward to future collaborations with Links for Lungs. We may not have claimed the top spot, but the camaraderie and purpose made us all winners!

    • ITCO Members Meeting

    • It’s been an incredibly productive few days at the ITCO (International Tank Container Organization) Members Meeting in Houston. The focus was on driving growth in the tank container industry within North America, and it’s clear how vital these in-person connections are in shaping the future of our industry.  

    • At Klinge, we are proud to be part of such a dynamic sector, connecting with like-minded professionals, sharing ideas, and working together to unlock new opportunities. Thank you to everyone who made this event a success—we’re excited to see where our combined efforts will lead!

    • Trane Technologies Expands Thermo King Business with Acquisition of Klinge  Corporation, a Leading Manufacturer of Specialized Refrigerated Transport Containers 

      Global climate innovator Trane Technologies (NYSE: TT) and its industry-leading Thermo King brand, a leader in sustainable transport temperature control solutions, completed the acquisition of Klinge Corporation on August 1, 2024.  

      Klinge provides superior transport container solutions for various industries and is one of the world’s leading providers of specialized ISO (International Organization for Standardization)  refrigerated containers. The addition of Klinge complements Thermo King’s suite of cutting-edge, sustainable solutions. Klinge’s portfolio includes container refrigeration units renowned for their ability to transport extremely temperature-sensitive goods that serve a variety of industries, including chemical, pharmaceutical, and food processing, among others.

      Reflecting on the fantastic few days at LogiPharma in Lyon. It was marked by engaging and insightful discussions, fostering great connections among industry leaders. We were also honored to have Mercy Ships join us at this event, adding depth and significance to our discussions. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who visited our booth.
